We would like all patients of Cornerstone Optometry to please be aware that, in response to the COVID-19 outbreak, some policies must be temporarily changed. By order of the California State Public Health Officer on March 19, 2020, Healthcare/Public Health is considered one of the 16 critical infrastructure sectors. Therefore, Cornerstone Optometry will attempt to maintain normal business hours and will maintain phone operations, as well as after-hours phone answering service, to assist patients during this national emergency.
However, we are recommending that all patients requiring only routine, non-emergency, or non-urgent services do not come to the office. Also, any patients who are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms, or who have recently travelled out of the country or visited any of the affected areas should not enter the office. If you are unsure whether an office visit is required, please contact our staff at (760) 341-7373.
The administration of Cornerstone Optometry has implemented recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control, the Department of Health and Human Services, and the American Optometric Association. Our staff is taking appropriate action in carrying out its duties in attempt to inhibit the spread of COVID-19. Please be aware that this situation continues to change daily. On behalf of the staff, we hope for a resolution to this situation and that all members of our community stay safe and healthy.
