I love this profession—and what I do—very much, especially on the doctor-patient level.
Dr. Stephen R. Keller has seen California, especially Southern California, as home his entire life. He started locally…at Alta Loma Elementary, Alta Loma Junior High, and Alta Loma High. In 1989, he graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology (with honors).
Dr. Keller completed Optometry school at the University of California, Berkeley in 1993, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiological Optics and a Doctorate of Optometry degree (again, with honors). Soon thereafter, he joined the Milauskas Eye Institute in Palm Desert.
In 2001 Dr. Jerry Rosenstein, his mentor, retired and Dr. Keller returned to his roots, opening Cornerstone Optometry in Palm Desert.
His foremost objective is to develop the practice into a thriving primary eye care center, offering comprehensive visual examinations and a full range of vision care services.
Dr. Keller completes more than 25 hours of continuing education every year at the Loma Linda University Department of Ophthalmology.
